Da Nang's hip-hop and R&B nights are in two places. In the An Thuong and My An bar streets, Blends Social Bar, The Craftsman and Le Funky Donkey run DJ nights from about 9PM. On My Khe Beach, The Roof plays hip-hop and R&B Tuesday to Sunday. For a club, go to Hair of the Dog.

How to plan a hip‑hop night

Start at sunset: Sunset runs from about 5:15PM in late November to about 6:20PM in early July.
First DJ: Stay for the first set, or head inland. Blends, Le Funky Donkey and The Craftsman are all in the My An bar streets, close enough to walk between.
Go late: Hair of the Dog and Sugar Social Club in the city centre run until the early hours.
